Follow the steps below to install and activate Gutenify Pro on your WordPress website.
Prerequisites #
Before installing Gutenify Pro, make sure:
- You have a working WordPress website.
- You have already installed and activated the free Gutenify plugin.
- You have purchased a valid Gutenify Pro license.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide #
Step 1: Download the Gutenify Pro Plugin
- After purchasing Gutenify Pro, log in to your Gutenify Account.
- Navigate to the Downloads section.
- Click the Download button to get the Gutenify Pro ZIP file.

Step 2: Upload the Plugin to WordPress
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click on the Upload Plugin button at the top.
- Choose the gutenify-pro.zip file you downloaded earlier.
- Click Install Now.
Step 3: Activate Gutenify Pro
- Once the plugin is installed, click Activate Plugin.
- After activation, you’ll see a prompt to enter your license key.
Troubleshooting Tips #
Missing Download Link?
Make sure your payment was completed and confirmed. Check your email or your Gutenify account dashboard.
Upload Error?
Ensure you’re uploading the correct .zip file and that your hosting settings allow plugin uploads.
License Activation Fails?
Double-check your license key for typos. If the issue persists, contact Gutenify support.
Getting the Error: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet”?
This usually happens when Gutenify Pro is mistakenly uploaded via the Appearance > Themes page.
Gutenify Pro is a plugin, not a theme.
Please install it from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, not from the Themes section
